Assistant Professor Brittany N. Fox-Williams (Sociology Dept.) is a 2024-25 Russel Sage Scholar. Fox-Williams will utilize the award to work on a book examining 'trust as an overlooked dimension of racial inequality in education.'

The Lehman College Art Gallery invites all to a free opening reception for VARIATIONS, on exhibit through May 4. The selected prints of artists' work were published by the Benefit Print Project, a nonprofit that works with with culturally significant organizations in Africa, Asia, and North America. In Memoriam

Portrait of Claire Fagin in Black and White

Claire M. Fagin, former chairwoman of the nursing department at Lehman, died at the age of 97. Dr. C. Alicia Georges, professor emerita and former chair of Lehman's Nursing Department says:

"It was because of Claire Fagin that I joined the faculty at Lehman College. Dr. Fagin started the B.S. program that graduated its first class in 1974....Rest in Power.. Job well done. Nursing legend."
