Cindy and Jeff Morris Community Celebration
Join us as we celebrate the contributions to Scouting in Powhatan County by Lifelong Scouters, Cindy & Jeff Morris. Their Community Celebration takes place on December 5th at 3:00 pm at the Cub Scout Adventure Camp Dining Hall in Goochland. Please RSVP using the link below no later than November 28th. Tickets are $25.00 per person, and donations are accepted in honor of our special guests.
We are thrilled to announce our new Arrohattoc District Executive, Kenny Jones, Jr. Kenny started as a Tiger with Pack 738 and earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2011 while a member of Troop 799. "I am super excited and ready to get back into Scouting because I know my life would not have been the same without this program."
This month, Scouts can begin working on a brand new merit badge! Health Care Professions will teach Scouts about dozens of health care professions and vocations, including allopathic and osteopathic physicians; podiatrists; chiropractors; nurse practitioners; psychologists; optometrists; EMTs; pharmacists; and much more.
Scouts who have earned the rank of Eagle, are attending four-year colleges or universities, trade schools, or other approved programs, are active participants in school, Scouting activities, and community service, are eligible to apply for the NESA Scholarship. The Award Portal opens on December 1st, 2021.
