Announcements From Sea Pines CSA
2022 Commercial Decal & Commercial Hangtag Renewal Notice
Sea Pines CSA is now accepting online applications for 2022 annual decals. Apply online for your Commercial Decal or Commercial Hangtag: www.seapinesliving.com/request. We are no longer accepting paper applications. A copy of the current vehicle registration is required when completing the online decal application.
 
A new decal will be required for entry into Sea Pines effective Monday, February 7, 2022.
 
The Sea Pines CSA Office Administration Staff will notify each business via email when the 2022 decal is ready for pickup from the Sea Pines CSA Office. Payment must be received at the time of pickup. Decal fees are listed on the attached ‘Decal Renewal Handout’.

Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office Seasonal Hours End 2/1/2022
 
Beginning February 1, 2022, the Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office, located at 32 Greenwood Drive will discontinue seasonal hours and will begin operating at the normal business hours below:
 
  • Sunday – Saturday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM

North Sea Pines Drive Phase 2 Major Roadway Reconstruction Update
Project Work Zone: North Sea Pines Drive from the Sea Pines Beach Club to the Ocean Gate in Sea Pines

Completion to Date: Approximately 70% complete

Current Status:
  • Major stormwater drainage pipe removal and replacements are currently underway in the following areas:
  • In proximity to Sandhill Crane Road and Night Heron Villas
  • From Catbird Lane to Laughing Gull Road
  • From Oyster Catcher Road to Duck Hawk Road
  • Leisure trail reconstruction operations are also underway and trails in the project zone have been milled and graded and are being prepared for paving operations. Leisure trails remain closed in the project zone to accommodate this work.

What’s Next:
  • Following the completion of stormwater drainage pipe replacements and leisure trail reconstruction activities, crews will complete milling and paving operations on North Sea Pines Drive, Catbird Lane, Sandhill Crane Road, Mockingbird Lane, and a portion of Lawton Drive nearest to North Sea Pines Drive
  • Crews will also conduct line stripping, stamping of crosswalks, and site restoration with substantial project completion by the end of February 2022, weather permitting.

Important Reminders From Sea Pines CSA
Short Term Renters and Their Guest Parking Policy Effective January 1, 2022

At the November Sea Pines CSA Board of Directors meeting the Sea Pines CSA Board of Directors established the below parking guidelines for short term renters and their guests:
 
As of January 1, 2022, short term renters and their guests are only permitted to park vehicles in the garage, carport or on the driveway of the rental property. Parking is not permitted on any landscaped surfaces including the front, back or side yards.
 
In the event Sea Pines CSA discovers any vehicles of short term renters or their guest's parking on any landscaped surfaces of any property or parking on a street or roadway overnight in violation of this Policy, Sea Pines CSA will notify the Owner and/or the property management company to correct the parking violation. If the parking violation is not corrected within eight (8) hours of notification, Sea Pines CSA reserves the right to impose monetary fines on the Owner in accordance with the Sea Pines Land Use Rules and Regulations for Residential Property Owners, Long Term and Short Term Tenants.

Pet Regulation and Leash Law Reminders
  • Dogs must be restrained by a leash or fencing at all times (except when the no leash policy is permitted on the beach) and not allowed to bark for any duration that would disturb others.

  • Pet owners, please be sure to always carry waste bags. Pet waste must be picked up and properly disposed of in trash receptacles. 
 
  • A state-issued ticket can be issued to pet owners who do not have their pet/s properly leashed. For questions regarding regulations for leash laws, please contact Sea Pines Security at 843.671.7170.
Developed Property Landscaping Maintenance Reminders
  • Roofs, gutters, driveways, and other hard surfaces shall be cleared of pine straw and other vegetative debris with reasonable frequency so that there is no accumulated buildup.

  • Fallen leaves are permitted as landscaping ground cover, but shall be maintained to a neat, clean appearance.

  • Limbs, sticks, fronds, fallen leaves (not used as ground cover of bedded areas) and other such vegetative debris shall be removed from the Property
