Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,

This Sunday, we kick off National Catholic Schools Week --- a week where all Catholic schools across the country celebrate the uniqueness of our mission --- to take education a huge step further by also forming our students in the faith as we all strive to follow in the footsteps of Christ. We look forward to a variety of fun events and activities this week to honor our Catholic schools, students, parish, teachers and families. Some fun facts about Catholic schools:

  • The first Catholic school in America opened in Philadelphia in 1783.
  • Current Catholic school enrollment in the United States is 1,626,291 in 5,981 Catholic schools. (www.ncea.org)
  • There are 4,812 elementary schools and 1,169 secondary schools. (www.ncea.org)
  • Catholic schools save taxpayers over $20,000,000,000 annually. (www.epicpew.com)
  • Elizabeth Ann Seton is the patron saint of Catholic schools.

Thank you for all you do to support our students, faculty and staff!

Only by His Grace,
Veronica Tucker
Principal

To make shopping even easier, our gala committee has put together an Amazon Gift Registry (https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/runfortheroses) featuring many of the items we would like to include in our auction baskets/themes. Items may be shipped directly to the school or dropped off at the front desk anytime during school hours. To ensure proper recognition at the auction and on our Gala website (apschool.givesmart.com), please submit your donations no later than March 11, 2022.
