Let's Talk SAT Tests!
It's that time of year to once again start looking at the upcoming SAT Tests! The SAT is a multiple-choice test created and administered by the College Board. The purpose of the SAT is to measure a high school student's readiness for college. While different colleges weigh SAT scores differently, the higher your child's score, the more options they have when applying for both their choice of schools and academic scholarships!
Math is just one portion of the SAT's, but the one usually considered the most difficult. At Mathnasium, math is what we do! Who better to prepare your student for the math portion of the test than an award-winning organization that specializes in math!

We’ve developed the Mathnasium SAT Math Prep Program to give students the individual attention they need to maximize their score on the math portion of each exam. Each student will come away from an initial assessment with a plan to address weaknesses in the areas covered by the SAT and develop skills to tackle every question. Coupled with test strategies, tips, and regular practice exams, the Mathnasium SAT Math Prep Program is superior to other approaches that leave students to fret and study alone. By starting exam prep now, we are confident that students’ scores will improve after following our program.
Don't Wait! Take Advantage of This Program Today!
Contact your student's learning center to learn more about the program and how you can sign UP your child.
SAT TEST UPDATE
This will be the last year that students can take the paper and pencil version of the SAT. Starting in March of 2024, the College Board has decided to make the SAT a Digital Only test. If your child finds it easier to test on paper rather than digitally, this and next year will be the last two years they can do so.

Another Success Story!
"We are so excited to have found Mathnasium! My daughter had been going to her teacher for extra tutoring and not seeing any improvement in her grade. When she finally told me how her “tutoring” with her teacher was going, we looked for help elsewhere. My daughter has always had a struggle with math. Her first tutoring session was the night before a test. She was worried because she was really struggling with what the test was on. She ended up with an 87 on that test! I did not have an argument about her going to Mathnasium over Christmas break and when I go to pick her up she says that she is not ready to leave. I cannot thank the staff enough for helping my daughter begin to overcome her struggle!" -Amanda R.
January's Kahoot! Challenge
As you recall, our centers have partnered with Kahoot! to create some amazingly fun ways to learn math - and we invite your child to participate in our January Kahoot! Challenge. It takes only about 5-10 minutes to complete.

- Choose one of the following four links.

- There are 5-10 math questions.

- Your student will be competing against other students and other centers.

- Winners in each category will get a spin on the Prize Wheel!
