Community Spirit

Not sure how May is right around the corner but here it comes! And that means that Debris Day is next weekend. Spend some time this weekend cleaning up so you can bring it all down to the Community Center parking lot on Saturday, May 6th.

We still have some compost left - grab it before it's gone.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend and so thankful for our community spirit.
Have a Wonderful Weekend!
Earth Day

What a wonderful turn out we had last weekend at the Earth Day clean up at Eastwood park. Community members of all ages came down to help. We did offer some treats to inspire the hard work but many hands truly make light work. We had a lovely day and left the park all spruced up for spring!

A big thank you to all who came to help!

If you want to be on the list for future events, reach out to Camille, our Events Coordinator, at events@tamcsd.org and sign up to help!

TCSD Board Work Session

The Board conducted a study session regarding the draft Five-Year Operating Budget Forecasts and preliminary operating budget formats and estimates for Wastewater, Solid Waste, and Parks & Recreation operations. The purpose of the Five -Year Operating Budget Forecasts is to project cost and revenue sources over the next five-year period. This allows the Board to better evaluate the on-going impacts of new programs, the availability of surplus revenue for capital projects, projected increases in wastewater.

Our First PARC Meeting
Our new Parks and Recreation Commission had their first meeting last Tuesday. It was a wonderful opportunity for our commissioners to introduce themselves to the community and start discussing their new role. Each member was sworn in and now we are officially underway. The next meeting will be held on May 19th.

Community Compost Delivery!

We received a giant pile last week and it's almost gone! We are so glad to see it going to good use in our community. Come grab the last bit before it's gone!

Local residents only and no commercial use, please. Take what you need and save some for your neighbors. Compost is meant as a small layer on top of high quality soil vs planting directly in this compost mix.
