“Let There Be Light” is the theme of USU Physics’ 14^th annual November Demo Show this Friday at 7 p.m. in ESLC 130. All are welcome and admission is free. 

Encourage your undergrads to attend USU’s NSF Summer Research Opportunity Workshop, to learn how to apply for the Research Experiences for Undergraduates program and to hear from past USU participants. The workshop, hosted by the college’s student-led Science Council, is Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 5 p.m. in LSB 231. Questions? All are invited to view the night sky from the USU Observatory telescope Friday, Dec. 3, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The observatory is located on the roof of the SER Building. All ages are welcome and admission is free. Please visit the observatory’s website for updates prior to arrival on Dec. 3, as the gathering will be canceled in the event of cloudy or inclement weather.
