Happy New Year! Town of Bennett offices will be closed Monday, January 2, 2023, in observance of the holiday. Regular hours of operation will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

The Town of Bennett was happy to support the Bennett community through several programs this holiday season.

In partnership with the Bennett School District, the Town of Bennett was able to provide over 40 families with living essentials and holiday gifts as part of the Bennett Holiday Help Program

On Saturday, December 10, Town staff distributed toys and gifts to community members after receiving over $14,000 in donations. We would like to thank the generous sponsors of this program:

Join the Town of Bennett and Adams County Office of Emergency Management for our free Health and Medical Preparedness course where you’ll learn how to prepare for the health of you and your household, develop backup resources for your healthcare needs, and understand how to improve your recovery from disaster.

Seating for this course is on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to 40 people. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

New Hair Salon Open in Bennett

The Town of Bennett is excited to welcome a new business to Town, the Wild Child Hair Salon!

Wild Child Hair Salon is a home-based salon located at 280 Dahlia Street in the Brothers Four Neighborhood. They specialize in kid haircuts, first haircut packages, fashion color, fun-hairstyles and eco-friendly products. They also serve adults of all ages and individuals with physical, sensory or emotional disabilities. Salon owner and licensed cosmetologist, Rae, is a Bennett native who is excited to bring her decade of big-city salon experience back to the community she calls home.

The Bennett Arts Council invites you to become a sponsor for our upcoming 2023 season. This year we have updated our sponsorship levels and benefits for residents and businesses alike, including a ticketed VIP event for all sponsorship levels and inclusion on a new Donor Wall. A sponsorship with the Bennett Arts Council is the best way to support providing free arts and cultural events to the Town of Bennett and Eastern I-70 Corridor - followed by attending and enjoying these free events for our community!

Every year the Town of Bennett participates in the Adams County Mayors and Commissioners Youth Awards. This program recognizes youth in sixth grade to senior year, up to 20 years old, who have overcome personal adversity to create positive change in their lives.

Anyone who knows a deserving young person who has risen to meet challenges while maintaining a positive attitude and serving as a role model for other teens can submit a nomination, due no later than January 31.

The Town of Bennett Board of Trustees meetings are scheduled for the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Meetings will begin in 2023 on January 10. The public is encouraged and welcome to attend these meetings. If you cannot attend these meetings, however, we invite you to sign up for our new eNewsletter with board meeting updates.
