Art Room Updates
Hello Mustang Artists and Families!

Most K-5 students at Bell Prairie were able to participate in our annual Young Masters Art Fundraiser this fall. Students created works of art during art class with Mrs. Kusek and Ms. Kasserman and they can now be printed on a variety of products for you to enjoy or gift to a family member.   

Go to https://www.youngmastersart.com/fundraiser/ and select the button that says, “Click here to view your child’s artwork.” You may then select to search for your child’s school: Bell Prairie 2021. Once you type in your child’s last name, their artwork from this year will appear if they were present during the weeks we participated in this activity. 

A portion of all proceeds go directly back to our art program at Bell Prairie. Thank you for considering this opportunity!

Music Room Updates
Windsong Choir will resume rehearsals this Wednesday, February 2. The choir is open to all 4th and 5th grade students and we welcome new singers to join us. We meet in the music room from 8:00-8:30 am each Wednesday morning. We are preparing for a shared concert with our Strings students, which will occur in May. Strum Club will begin again on Friday, February 4. Strum Club is open to 4th and 5th grade students. We will be working on specific ukulele chords and strumming techniques. The club meets from 8:00-8:30 am each Friday morning. Follow this link to read the Strum Club newsletter. There is a link to an enrollment form in the newsletter. This is just to help us plan for the students who are coming.
 
The 3rd Grade Concert “Change Sings” will be presented on Tuesday, March 8 in the Bell Prairie Gym. Ms. Mickles’ class, Mrs. Olsen’s class and Mrs. Skinrood’s class will perform at 6:30. Miss Ohde’s class and Mr. Vaughan’s class will perform at 7:30. Students were given an informational letter on Friday, this letter is also available in Canvas.
Classroom Photos
Classroom group photos have been rescheduled.
The new date is Friday, April 8th.
Photo envelopes that have been sent to school will be returned in backpacks.
A new order envelope will be sent out closer to the rescheduled date.
