We want to make sure pupils are prepared for college in September, so our tutors have created a series of course presentations along with summer assignment work for them to explore the courses in more depth, to prepare them for the start of term. Please visit our website.
Our Level 3 Uniformed Protective Services students at Langley have been undertaking their end point practical assessment this month.
They've been securing and investigating a crime scene. Great experience for those students who are keen to go into policing or forensics.
We're pleased to show off our new 'Success Wall' as you walk into the entrance going into The Street at Langley College.
Our plans are to grow this area as we celebrate all the wonderful achievements of our students.
Our Strode's Media Studies, Film Studies and Drama students recently visited the Minghella Studios at Reading University. After a tour of the excellent facilities, students participated in workshops, had free run of the prop store, used the TV Studio and greenscreen to create a gameshow and performed in the round. Thank you to Reading University for hosting an excellent day for our students.
Completion of the Royal Society of Chemistry's Analyst competition in which 24 students from Strode's competed in a team to employ the practical skills they have been learning in class.
Winners will be announced in June and we are waiting in anticipation to see how we have done.
Huge congratulations to our student debate team at Windsor College who recently won the debate competition held as part of the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations at Eton College.
We are immensely proud of our students’ performance and achievements and will be giving the trophy pride of place!
We have had an amazing time this month showcasing the talent of our performing arts students.
The productions were staged at the Old Court Windsor. The students took part in the performance, the production, and the set and costume design. Well done to everyone involved.
