HOVC Holiday Schedule
Our Leadership Center and Scout Shop will be closed on Thursday, December 23rd and Friday, December 24th in observance of Christmas. The Scout Shop will remain closed through Tuesday, December 28th for inventory. Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday season!
Join in on a post-Winter Camp Wilderness First Aid course built specifically for adults, Venture Scouts, and Eagle Scouts. Meals are included and classes will be held indoors and outdoors, so please dress accordingly. A flyer with more information, including an equipment list, can be found on the registration link below.
The Citizenship in Society Merit Badge will become a requirement for those scouts who have not completed all of their Eagle requirements by June 30, 2022. Beginning July 1, this Merit Badge will add to the established list of required Eagle Merit Badges. Citizenship in Society will replace one of the optional selections, a scout may have chosen. Please note, it is not an additional badge to be earned. A total of 21 Merit Badges must be earned after July 1, the same amount presently required.
Registration is open for the Cooking Merit Badge course taking place April 5th-8th, 2022 at Cub Adventure Camp. Scouts will have the opportunity to earn the complete cooking merit badge during this intensive class, where they will learn how to make many things from scratch including bread, pie, and much more! Must be at least 13 years old to attend. Parents are welcome.
