Stop Private Jet Expansion Municipal Campaign contact info

From Stop Private Jet Expansion (SPJE)

We are looking for volunteers to lead a local campaign in their town or city asking their Select Board or City Council to pass a resolution opposing the expansion.  If there are several volunteers willing and interested in the same municipality we will put them in touch with each other. The more the better.

Resolutions coming from cities and towns throughout the Commonwealth will demonstrate to Gov. Healey that this is not just a NIMBY issue, but a state-wide one because Massport’s expansion plans are a direct and immediate threat to our Commonwealth’s efforts to combat climate change, as would a similar expansion anywhere else.

The earlier call to action had the wrong contact address.

For more info, or to join in this campaign, please contact muni@stopprivatejetexpansion.org

From Mass Power Forward

I'm writing to make sure you got the invite to a special event this month- a hybrid forum with the MA Environmental Justice Table, Saturday, January 20th at 2pm. RSVP Here. We'll be in person at First Parish Concord and on zoom.

We all know that environmental justice communities like Springfield, East Boston, Brockton and beyond get targeted for polluting facilities. The Eversource pipeline proposal is just one example we've all be following.

This forum is a chance to hear from the Environmental Justice table to discuss the elephant in the room- how do we build the renewable distributed electric grid we need fast, while not repeating the mistakes of the past?

We'll learn more about the vision for infrastructure, energy democracy, and centering frontline communities in the process- as well as the current policy proposal from the EJ Table to greenlight good projects fast and nip bad projects in the bud.

This event is hybrid, so you can come in person, or on zoom. Hope to see you there. RSVP Here.

Sincerely,

Claire Karl and the team at Mass Power Forward
