CCCD Invites You to Celebrate National Pollinator Week
at the 2023 Pollinator Palooza!

Walpole, NH (May 15, 2023) – The Cheshire County Conservation District (CCCD) invites you to celebrate National Pollinator Week from June 19-25th, 2023. National Pollinator Week is an annual opportunity to celebrate pollinators and learn how to support pollinator health in our community!

To celebrate National Pollinator Week, CCCD invites you to the 2023 Pollinator Palooza!

When: Thursday, June 22nd, 1:00PM-3:00PM:
Where: Ashuelot River Park, Keene, NH

Join us for an afternoon of learning and celebration of pollinators during National Pollinator Week! Learn more from organizations throughout our region, and enjoy games and activities for participants of all ages!

Activities include: a pollinator scavenger hunt, creating your own bee box, painting your own pot for a native plant, and more!

Presented by Cheshire County Conservation District, the Harris Center for Conservation Education, the City of Keene Parks and Recreation, Friends of the Ashuelot River, Moosewood Ecological, Keene Public Library, SOAK Up the Rain NH, The Monadnock Food Co-Op, Monadnock Grows Together, The Caterpillar Lab, Antioch University New England Community Garden Connections, UNH Master Gardeners, Monadnock Beekeepers Association, and Healthy Home Habitats.

This event is free and open to the public!

The event will be held rain or shine! This year, we are also excited to offer the opportunity to shop locally and support conservation! Local plant and compost vendors will be selling a variety of products, with 20% of sales supporting CCCD's conservation programs! Vendors include: Fassett Farm Nursery, Thistle Dew Farm, Julie's Garden, Phylicia Roberts, Cook Hill Farm, and Echo Farm Puddings!
