Eagles in Action
Kindergarten's February Eagles in Action
Center for Independence through Conductive Education
Our Mission
To help children and adults with physical disabilities maximize their independence. We accomplish our mission by offering affordable Conductive Education programs that develop motor functions in a manner that promotes positive self-determination, self–esteem, and an “I Can!” attitude.
OUR COMMITMENT
The Center's program is committed to helping people with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and other motor disorders achieve their highest potential. The focus on self-determination is where Conductive Education stands out. The program breaks down physical skills like walking, sitting and eating into achievable tasks and requires every participant to take some responsibility for their own learning. Participants initiate tasks, take a risk, cope, persevere, adapt - and learn! It is through this continuous cycle of trial and error that children and adults with physical disabilities develop a strong "I Can!" Attitude; where they believe in their own ability and recognize there is no limit to learning on their journey towards independence!

Thank you for your support!
Thank you from 4th grade!
Fourth grade would like to thank everyone for their generosity during their Eagles in Actin project for BEDS Plus in LaGrange. We collected 80 containers of peanut butter, 270 oatmeal packets, 49 boxes of cereal, 12 granola bars, 103 Ramen noodles, 15 packs of Cheez-Its, 372 Ziploc bags, and 19 miscellaneous items (tuna, soup, Pop-Tarts, etc.). Our class also made 45 sandwiches and bag lunches for BEDS Plus clients. January offerings totaled $215.78, which we used to purchase the lunch items. The rest was donated to BEDS Plus. Thank you for helping us to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and a great witness to homeless people in our community.
