Catch Up on Presentations about SCCF-UF Collaboration
In 2021, SCCF brought in visiting researchers, post-doctorate and graduate students, and technicians in partnership with the University of Florida Center for Coastal Solutions (UF-CCS). The cohort analyzed the causes, drivers, and transport of algal blooms in Lake Okeechobee, and the watershed and estuary. A graduate course called Coastal Policy Lab—combining science, engineering, and policy—examined issues such as mangrove trimming, dredging, and the Sanibel Plan. Watch two November presentations about this collaboration at UF-CCS partnership and UF Coastal Policy Lab.
