Career Fair June 21

The Bear Tracks residential summer program for high school graduates and seniors began this week as Shawnee State University hosts the 2022 Industry Training Program, a three-week summer program funded by the GRIT Project (see gritohio.org). During the month of June, Bear Tracks is assisting more than 50 local young people from Scioto and nearby counties in developing workforce skills to obtain jobs in their careers of interest.

Those students who complete these programs will also develop a quality professional resume and learn job interviewing skills. We invite you to attend a career fair on Tuesday, June 21, from 4-7 p.m. on the campus of Shawnee State to meet with these students to recruit them for your internship or career opportunities. We are hoping to find an internship opportunity for each student who completes this program. Your participation is free, and dinner will be provided at 7 p.m. Please register on Handshake, our career platform, at THIS LINK.

If you do not have a Handshake account, please apply for your free account today at https://shawnee.joinhandshake.com.
