Rocking ER Farm Store Celebrates New Location in Attica

Congratulations to Elizabeth and Riley McCullough on the opening of Rocking ER Farm Store's new location at 8 South Main Street in Attica!

Rocking ER Farm Store was established in 2020. Elizabeth and Robby's son, Riley, rodeoed and he wanted to help pay some of his entry fees and started to sell produce in 2017. Each year they continued to grow and finally outgrew their pop-up tent. The ideas began to roll in and Rocking ER Farm Store was created that would offer a wide variety of products all-year round.

Rocking ER Farm Store is a country store with a variety of items; from home décor, candy, pet supplies, unique gifts, clothing, and more! They also have locally-made products including health and beauty products, candles and wax melts, hides, signs, tables, benches, flags, jewelry, and more. They'll be carrying locally made donuts from Lisa's Ice Cream on Wednesdays and Sundays. For more pictures of the ribbon cutting, click here.

It's time for spring cleaning! The Chamber has partnered with We Love To Shred to offer a free document shredding event to our community.

A truck will be parked in City Lot #6 (off of South Monroe Street) in Tiffin from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (or until the truck fills up) on May 19 to destroy and recycle documents in real time. Please enter the parking lot using the South Monroe Street entrance closest to First Presbyterian Church and exit onto Madison Street after your vehicle is unloaded.

Documents can be brought in bags, boxes, or totes - just let us know if you would like them returned to you!

Happy Feature Friday, where every Friday the Chamber team will highlight one of our fantastic members by repping them for the day and telling the community more about them. This week's Feature Friday is: CASA of Seneca, Sandusky, and Wyandot Counties!

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates and serve as a voice for a child in court! CASA is a national, volunteer-based organization that trains people to become volunteer advocates for children. CASA of Seneca, Sandusky, and Wyandot counties is a non-profit agency and had been serving locally abused and neglected children since 1990. Their mission is that they believe children deserve a safe, permanent, and supportive environment to live. The vision of CASA is that by drawing on community resource to accomplish the goals of child protection, CASA will provide a trained Guardian ad Litem for every child in Seneca, Sandusky, and Wyandot Counties who requires one.

CASA of Seneca, Sandusky, and Wyandot counties are always looking for volunteers! All one needs to do to become a volunteer is submit an application and participate in their next training session, which begins on April 25, 2023 at 5pm in the Tiffin office. For more information on getting involved with the next training session and apply, visit http://ow.ly/NFkx50NPgZR. CASA's training will teach you everything you will need to know about advocating for children. No prior experience is necessary, but their children require an advocate who have qualities such as professionalism, dependability, credibility, a good gauge of common sense, and a strong commitment to children. Applicants are required to be 21 years or older and be able to pass a background check that CASA will provide. Every child has a chance, it is you! Learn more here.
