Sporting Clays Tournament Committee
This committee is responsible for planning and carrying out the annual sporting clays tournament each Spring.
Committee members are responsible for:
· assigning in the planning and organizing of the sporting clays event.
· Fundraising for the sporting clays event.
· assisting with set up and clean up on the day of the event.
Committee members serve a one-year team and a chairman will be elected at the first committee meeting.
Architecture Tour Committee
The Annual AIA Architecture Tour is the chapter’s largest public outreach event. It showcases seven or eight projects designed by an architect.
Committee members are responsible for:
· encouraging nominations for the tour locations
· selecting the tour locations for the tour
· fundraising for the AIA Architecture Tour
· each committee member will be assigned a location on the tour and will be the liaison for their location and expected to be at the location for the duration of the tour.
Committee members serve a one-year team and a chairman will be elected at the first committee meeting.
Golf Tournament
This event is the chapter’s largest fundraiser and helps fund our programs and events throughout the year.
The Committee is responsible for:
· Promoting the tournament to architects
· Making fundraising calls and securing golf sponsorships
· Assisting in the planning and organization of the tournament.
Committee members serve a one-year team and a chairman will be elected at the first committee meeting.
Kickball Tournament Committee
Each year AIA Central Oklahoma hosts a kickball tournament where teams within the AEC industry compete against one another for bragging rights and a trophy.
The Committee is responsible for:
· assisting in the organization of the event
· helping secure the event venue
· recruiting teams and assisting with the bracketing of the tournament
· fundraising for the event
· helping with set up and tear down the day of the event
