Town of Bennett Provides Gifts and Support for the Holiday Season
|
|
The Town of Bennett was happy to support the Bennett community through several programs this holiday season.
In partnership with the Bennett School District, the Town of Bennett was able to provide 19 families with essentials and holiday gifts as part of the Bennett Holiday Help Program
On Saturday, December 11, Town staff distributed toys and gifts to community members after receiving over $7,000 in generous donations from the Bennett community and the Adams County Sheriff's Office.
This year, in partnership with CORE, the Town was also able to give seniors in the community gifts of socks, slippers, blankets, games and other essentials.
The Town of Bennett is grateful for the opportunity to provide a happy holiday season to community members and looks forward to continuing the Holiday Help Program in 2022.

Master Transportation Plan
|

The Town of Bennett has initiated its first ever Master Transportation Plan (MTP) to establish a long-range vision for the Town’s transportation system over the next 20+ years. The MTP seeks to better understand and address current and future transportation needs for the Bennett community. It establishes an overall framework, sets community goals and identifies a range of investment opportunities to move people in the most efficient and safest manner possible today and for years to come.

You’re invited to join us for a public meeting on January 19, 2022, at Town of Bennett Town Hall, 207 Muegge Way, Bennett, CO 80102 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Bennett Arts Council 2022 Sponsorship
|
|
The arts have a long history of bringing people together across boundaries to increase understanding, prompt dialogue and beautify communities. Artists and art organizations are an important resource in our path to building a strong and connected community. The Bennett Art Council was created in 2018 with the mission to promote, connect and empower arts and culture for all ages.
But it isn't only artists and arts organizations that are stewards of strength and connection in communities. You can be too. The Arts Council couldn't do the work it does without the help of generous people and companies like you. We are looking for sponsors to support our cause and have several options for how you can be involved and support us.
- A one-time, monthly or annual donation to ensure we have the funding we need to advance arts and culture in the community
- In-kind contributions
- Volunteer or attend at an upcoming event
- Join the Bennett Art Council
Sponsor benefits are offered at varying levels of support and provide a wide range of recognition in the community. We ensure all sponsors are prominently featured in all promotional material online, on social media and in local publications.
We hope we can count on your support for the upcoming year. For more information or to discuss sponsorship options, please contact Special Projects Coordinator, Steve King, at at [email protected] or (303)699-3249 ext 1029.

Getting to Know Your Community Services Officers
|
|
The Town of Bennett recently hired two new Community Services Officers (CSO).
The goal of the CSOs is to support Bennett residents in creating a healthy and fun community.
The officers act as liaisons between the Adams and Arapahoe County Sheriff Departments, advising them of suspicious activities that may occur in the community, and assisting with other duties such as traffic control and some traffic enforcement.
They are also responsible for animal control and help with lost dogs, pet licensing, chicken and duck permits, investigating animal abuse/neglect cases as well as helping with other animal complaints.
The CSOs are here to help with code compliance, maintaining a positive relationship with residents and assisting with Town events. Recently, they helped deliver meals for Breakfast with Santa and distributed toys for the Holiday Help Program.
The officers are committed to helping create a safe, happy and healthy Bennett Community. If you see them around Town, introduce yourself. They are always looking to help out our Bennett neighbors!
More information on the Community Services Department can be found here.
