Blue colorectal cancer awareness ribbons
Although this year's awareness campaign was released early to assist with planning for Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, the GW Cancer Center reminds you that through funding and support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an updated colorectal cancer awareness month campaign is now available! The campaign includes downloadable tips for getting started on social media, and sample messaging for Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. Access the campaign today!

Mandi Pratt-Chapman, PhD, Associate Center Director, Patient-Centered Initiatives and Health Equity for the GW Cancer Center, is the lead author on a recent qualitative study that examined implementation factors for successful PN programs to optimize the sustainability of PN services. Major facilitators for PN sustainability include aligned external incentives, strong leadership, clear roles and protocols, and effective partnerships tailored to patient needs.
