Moving Traditions for our B2M Rotation!!

The Moving Traditions curriculum connects Jewish wisdom and Jewish values to the interpersonal and social elements that coexist with the coming of age ritual of BMitzvah.

  • Topics for 6th Grade included Growing Up, Where's your Joy, and Would you Rather?
  • Topics for 7th Grade included Posting, The History of Bat Mitzvah, and Getting Unworried

The Family Table

This rotation focused on Jewish values as illustrated in the table above.

  • What Jewish values resonate with you?
  • What Jewish values are you most interested in developing?

These seven key takeaways were shared by Psychologist Dr. Betsy Stone in conversation Rabbi Tamara Cohen, Chief Program Officer at Moving Traditions and compiled by Alisha Pedowitz, Director of Teen Education.
