L'Dor Va-Dor supports Ukraine. What this country and its people are experiencing is truly unbelievable in this day and age. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them as they try to stand up for what is right and for their lives and safe living.

Please consider donating to one of the organizations that is actively providing assistance and/or working with citizens of Ukraine, or the Ukrainian refugees that have fled to other countries, including to the U.S. (for example: HIAS, UNICEF, Red Cross, etc).

Just to let you know ... Rabbi Barry (also an attorney) filed a lawsuit / complaint for Congregation L'Dor Va-Dor against the state of Florida and our govenor for the law due to go into effect on July 1, 2022, that no longer allows women to have an abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy. This new law denies women's right to choose and freedom of religion. This lawsuit has created quite a stir nationally and a lot of press for our congregation and the rabbi. Articles have appeared in many newspapers, and the rabbi has done several national and local tv and radio interviews as well. In light of the overturning of Roe vs. Wade on Friday, it seems we are getting even more publicity. The rabbi is also holding an interfaith rally today at 7:00 pm in the North Palm Beach area. Please read more about the reason for the submission, the actual lawsuit filed, and Rabbi Barry's response to the overturn of the Roe vs. Wade by the Supreme Court by clicking here.

We return to The Mariposa this Friday, July 1st at 7:30 pm and welcome and invite one and all to join us for our dynamic Shabbat with Rabbi Barry (Cantor Carol will be away on vacation and will return July 8th)!
We wish you a spectacular Sunday and a wonderful week ahead! May you have good health, love and peace in your lives. We hope that L'Dor Va-Dor can serve and satisfy all of your Judaic needs. Please contact us if there is something you need or want.

With Shalom and Peace,
Sharon Leibovitz
