Turkey Ball Music Fest Tonight at Broken Oar
Join Broken Oar tonight, Nov. 24 starting at 5:00 pm for their Turkey Ball Black Wednesday Music Fest in a heated tent at 614 Rawson Bridge Rd. in Port Barrington. SOUL Harbour to March in Thanksgiving Parade

Black Friday Giveaways at Deer Park Town Center
Visit Deer Park Town Center, 20530 N. Rand Rd., on Friday, Nov. 26 for gift card giveaways and complimentary donuts, while enjoying strolling carolers. Starting at 10:00 am, the first 100 shoppers in line will receive a goodie bag containing one gift card to a store or restaurant. Line up no earlier than 9:30 am across from Pottery Barn. Santa & Shopping at The Arboretum on Nov. 26
Plan for a visit with Santa while shopping on Friday, Nov. 26 in the Arboretum of South Barrington, 100 W. Higgins Rd. Kids are invited to take photos with Santa from 10:00 am-1:00 pm at the Community Room located between Georgio's Chicago Pizzeria & Pub and Cooper's Hawk Winery. Vintage Holidays Begin in Historic Long Grove
It's the season to enjoy Vintage Holidays in Historic Downtown Long Grove. Now through Sunday, Dec. 19, you can reserve a horse-drawn carriage ride, visit merchant open houses with holiday promotions, and hear strolling carolers around the town. BDE Presents The Nutcracker at BHS Nov. 26-28
A holiday tradition returns with "The Nutcracker" Nov. 26-28 at Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St., featuring professional guest artists, the Barrington Dance Ensemble company members, and more than 100 local dancers. Walk On Holiday Market at Barrington's White House
Shop for a cause at the Walk On Holiday Market Sunday, Dec. 5 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Barrington's White House, 145 W. Main St. The event features an array of vendors, appetizers from Wild Asparagus Catering, a wine pull and raffle baskets. Their virtual market and silent auction begins Monday, Nov. 29. Senator Dan McConchie, 26th District of Illinois, will be hosting a Holiday Gift Drive for two charities in the northern suburbs: Little City, which serves children and adults with disabilities, will benefit from gifts purchased using the Amazon Wish List; and Lake County Haven, a social-service agency helping homeless women and children, will receive gift cards purchased from designated local businesses. Barrington Children's Choir Performs Dec. 11
The Barrington Children's Choir will perform its 2021 Winter Concert "O, Joyful Children" on Saturday, Dec. 11 at 2:00 and 6:00 pm at the Barrington United Methodist Church. The program will feature music that reflects how winter is viewed through the eyes of a child. Barrington Children’s Charities (BCC) will host its Annual Holly Ball Fundraiser on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 6:00-11:30 pm at Barrington Hills Country Club, 300 W. County Line Rd.
