Bay Path University's 11th Annual Cybersecurity Summit

Bay Path University's annual summit will focus on how cybersecurity is the first line of defense and how it needs to be the strongest.


In 2023, there has been a surge of cyber and ransomware attacks across the Commonwealth. When the unthinkable happens, a company, city, town, or college is often paralyzed or worse yet, consumers need to be alerted their privacy has been violated.


As the keynote speaker for the Summit, Peter Sherlock, the CEO of CyberTrust Massachusetts, sees the big picture. He leads a consortium of industry and higher education leaders who partner with the cyber ecosystem of business, government, and education to develop cyber workers and make local entities more cyber secure.

2023 Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report (DBIR) Briefing

Join representatives from Verizon’s Threat Research Advisory Center (VTRAC) for a webinar on October 17th that will present their 2023 Data Breach Investigation Report (DBIR).


For 16 years, Verizon has gathered data and analyzed security incidents to produce the DBIR with the goal of providing “a place for security practitioners to look for data-driven, real-world views on what commonly befalls companies with regard to cybercrime.” Find out what’s new in the world of exploits, and what remains persistently challenging.


This Massachusetts Cybersecurity Month Event is being presented by Verizon in partnership with the Commonwealth Fusion Center and the MassCyberCenter.


The event will be held virtually on Tuesday, October 17th from 1:30-2:30 pm.
