Let’s talk turkey in our December 1st webinar on legal updates for rental housing providers.

Never in our careers have we been tasked with digesting so much information on new state laws, local ordinances, and edicts, but we’ve reached a plateau in new developments.

Join us in our upcoming webinar to take inventory of where we have been, where we are at, and where we are going as we emerge from the long, dark winter of COVID.

We are in this for the long haul.

This holiday, there is much to be thankful for and much more to give back.

A heartfelt thanks to our valued clients, colleagues, referral partners, and other friends for feeding our families during the most unprecedented of times.

Unable to avail the courts for a long stretch, a lot of our time was invested in empathizing, commiserating, and strategizing with our clients without the traditional tools of resolving landlord-tenant disputes at our disposal.

Mustering a great deal of creativity and diplomacy and applying all that we have learned about managing rental relationships, we were often able to achieve a positive outcome for clients even when there was no recourse in the courts because the courts were closed.

However frustrating this was at times, those heart-to-heart conversations were a blessing. We got to know you and the challenges you face, and we renewed our commitment to helping you power through obstacles in an era when lawmakers got together to enact the most stringent of tenant protections with comparatively little effort to protect the rights of property owners.

While the worst is past us, there is much work we have to do at Bornstein Law to help you feed your family.

There are many in our community who are suffering this holiday because of massive rent debt and are hamstrung to remove problematic tenants. We feel your pain and through proper counsel, our team will do everything we can to pave a path to success in your real estate business.

For the trust you’ve placed in us toward achieving your goals, we are immensely thankful.

A holiday miracle for Alameda County landlords?

In a recent meeting, the Board of Supervisors at least entertained the idea of removing its draconian eviction moratorium. We wrote a letter to lawmakers to urge them to continue this conversation forward.
