Weekly Director Letter 06/03/2022
Dear Parents,

As next week is a short week, this will be the last weekly letter of the 2021-2022 school year. We are all so grateful to have had your child at Kids For Kids Academy. My teachers and staff have come to love each child in their care and it will be hard on June 10th to say goodbye to those who are moving on. Even if your child is moving to the next room, it will be hard for their teacher so see them go. Over the course of the school year the staff in each room becomes attached and letting go is hard. If your child is leaving our school, I hope that we have provided the most fabulous learning experience over the past year and wish you well in your new schools. Please make sure to visit often and share your successes. We look forward to hearing all about them.

Next week is filled with events, especially in our VPK and Kindergarten - Second grade classes. Those families are asked to refer to the notice that went home this week with all the important information. Be sure to bring a box of tissues and your camera for the graduation and awards assemblies. There will be a rehearsal on Tuesday. In order for your child to participate, DCF requires that you sign a permission sheet which is posted outside the school. If it is not signed, we cannot take your child next door.

This week the class photos arrived. If you did not pick yours up, just asks someone at the door for it. If you did not order one and still wish to do so, let me know and I can put in another order. With regard to the year end teacher gifts, my heart is full of gratitude for the kindness you have shown my staff. Your generosity will make each and every one of them feel special. The last day to let us know to bill your accounts is Monday. We will end the collection Monday so that funds can be given to the staff on Tuesday.

As we gear up for summer camp, you will find the list of classes up on Monday. That will tell you the class your child will be going into for the summer and fall. You will also see that I have marked out the weeks you requested for vacation. Please check to see that it is correct so that you are not billed the weeks you requested to be on vacation. Please remember we are closed on Friday June 10th the prepare for summer camp. Here is a link to the camp calendar:

Finally, I thank you for the privilege of having your child spend the 2021-2022 school year at Kids For Kids Academy. Thank you for your love to myself and my staff and for the opportunity to serve you.

Fondly,
Beth Rosenthal Davis, Ed.S, NBCT
