After 28 years as Director of National Accounts for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp., John Grover formed his own company, Lions Share LLC. For 10 years he helped develop and facilitate over 130 consumer product training programs worldwide for international corporations.

He is a US Army veteran, having served in Vietnam as an interrogator of prisoners of war and attended The University of Toledo and the University of Louisville.

John has been an Optimist Member since 2008 and served in several leadership positions at the Club, District, and International levels. Husband to Marlene for over 49 years, John is the proud father of a son, JJ, daughter, Aubrey, and has 5 terrific grandchildren.

Besides his love of family and Optimism, he thoroughly enjoys blending his other two hobbies together, driving his Corvette to the golf course
