Jan. 7, 2022
Dear Superintendents and School Leaders,

The San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) has received word from the California Department of Public Health that we may receive the remainder of our allocation of at-home test kits tomorrow, Jan. 8.

If all the kits are delivered to SDCOE tomorrow, districts and charter schools that have not already received kits from SDCOE or directly from the state (view a full list here) may come to the SDCOE warehouse to pick up their allocation:
  • Sunday, Jan. 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Monday, Jan. 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

If we receive another partial allocation, we will provide kits to districts and charters in the order of their reply to our Jan. 4 email about test kit distribution.

We will email all superintendents and school leaders to confirm once we have actually received additional test kits. If you do not receive an email tomorrow indicating we have kits, please do not send crews to the warehouse for pickup.

Sincerely,
Paul
