Liebe TCGIS Gemeinschaft,
Dear TCGIS Community,

We are grateful at this time of year for the opportunity to gather with friends and family.  We encourage all of our TCGIS community to do so as safely as possible so that we have a healthy return to school next week!  If you’re planning to gather with people residing outside of your home, you may find this information about keeping Covid out of your gathering useful.

As Minnesota is in the midst of another rise in Covid-19 infections, we encourage all families to continue to test regularly for asymptomatic Covid-19 infection and keep ill children at home.

Travel during COVID-19 Pandemic
As the Delta Variant continues to spread throughout the country, we ask that any unvaccinated individual traveling out of state or country receive a negative PCR or Molecular Covid-19 test before returning to school.

Testing Resources
This link to the Minnesota database of Covid-19 testing locations can help you locate the different types of testing available. Scroll to just below the map, enter your zip code then use the "Test Type" drop down.  PCR tests are the standard for detecting asymptomatic and symptomatic cases of Covid-19, though results tend to take 24 or more hours.  Rapid result PCR testing is now available throughout the state.  To locate a testing site near you, using the drop down menu, select "Nasal Swab (PCR, rapid result)".

Testing at TCGIS
We will continue to offer PCR testing to registered students and staff at TCGIS, including on Tuesdays, November 30 and December 7 & 14.  If you have not already and would like to sign your child up for testing, please fill out these three forms completely (Zepto Registration, Zepto Consent, TCGIS Consent) and return to Dani Nicholson (dnicholson@tcgis.org) by noon on the Friday preceding a testing event.

Thank you for helping us keep our community safe from the spread of Covid-19 and other illnesses.

We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
