Share Your Voice: Mid-year DPS ‘Your Voice/Tu Voz’ Survey Opens Jan. 24
The Team DPS “Your Voice/Tu Voz” January survey will be available beginning Jan. 24. All members of Team DPS are encouraged to take this confidential survey, as your responses will help inform decisions on how we can better support all members of DPS.

This year, the annual CollaboRATE survey engagement questions will also be included in this mid-year survey. (Please note, the CollaboRATE leader survey will be released in March.)

All families and students will also be receiving a version of the “Your Voice/Tu Voz” January survey as well. Please encourage them to participate so we can capture as much feedback as possible. The final DPS “Your Voice/Tu Voz” Survey of the year will be shared in May.

Since the start of the pandemic, surveys like this have become more important than ever to gauge how we’re doing as a district and how we can continue to grow and improve. They are also one of the strongest tools you can use to help shape the future of your team and DPS as a whole. Keep a lookout for a unique survey link sent to your DPS email address, and be sure to share your voice!
Top 5 Callout: New Year's Resolutions
Welcome back, Team DPS! We’ve said “so long” to 2021, and we’re all ready for a fresh start in 2022. Did you make any New Year's resolutions? Share your plans and goals for the year ahead through this form, and you may be featured in next week’s Team DPS Weekly!
Updated In-person Meeting Guidance
We hope you had a safe and healthy winter break! As Supt. Dr. Alex Marrero shared this week, we have updated guidance surrounding isolation and quarantines. Please be sure to review those updates, if you haven’t already.

Additionally, we wanted to share an update around in-person meetings. Small in-person meetings are permitted at this time for up to 10 people, as long as 6 feet of distance can be maintained among all attendees. Please also provide the option at all meetings for participants to join remotely. All meetings with more than 10 attendees should take place virtually.

Review all of the latest health and safety updates in these documents for schools and Central Office, and remember to keep following the DPS 5!

Living Our DPS Honoree
James Davis
Assistant Principal,
Green Valley Elementary
Integrity

“Mr. Davis' work with young men and women here at Green Valley Elementary has been remarkable! Even though most of his work centers around restorative practices, equity, and Black Excellence, he is also well known for his nurturing self and strong moral principles. His honesty, rectitude and sincerity sure have made an impact in our school among students and staff. It is because of these traits that he has found a very unique way to connect and build long-lasting relationships with students and families. I observe him and learn from him every day! Thank you, James Davis!"
