The Governor has proclaimed November 2021 is National Scholarship Month in Wisconsin to raise awareness of the importance of scholarships and to celebrate the institutions and organizations—including Wisconsin’s technical colleges – that are committed to helping Wisconsin students achieve their higher education goals affordably. Begun in 1998 and currently sponsored by the National Scholarship Providers Association, recognition of National Scholarship Month helps to build awareness of scholarships and their role in improving educational opportunities and achievement, helping all students get to and through college. Wisconsin’s technical colleges are proud to offer life-changing scholarship opportunities for technical college students, including highly regarded Promise Programs.
