Greetings, Siblings of TWU Local 579,
TWU Local 579 proudly stands with our colleagues around the globe as we participate in the Worldwide Flight Attendant Day of Action. Together, we join hands with our Siblings at APFA, AFA-CWA, and TWU Local 556 on February 13th, 2024, to amplify our strength and advocate to uplift the Flight Attendant profession.
Our Focus is on the collective goal of all Unions to elevate their Members, and, in turn, elevate Flight Attendants worldwide. Many of our Union Siblings are engaged in contract negotiations, and it’s crucial for airlines to understand that substandard contracts are unacceptable. Our dedication in the skies, the countless hours of unpaid labor, and the role we play in maintaining a safe environment deserve to correlate with respect and fair compensation.
Flight Attendants are the backbone of the aviation industry, and we stand united against corporate greed to diminish the value of our profession. Airlines thrive on our hard work, and they should acknowledge our worth.
