EMPOWERING RECOVERY THROUGH EDUCATION AND TRAINING

The Recovery Education Collaborative Trainings are HERE!

As of January, the Recovery Education Collaborative (REC) has officially taken over all Peer Recovery Support Trainings for the state of Massachusetts. In partnership with the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) and funded and in partnership with the Department of Public Health (DPH), our training program provides high-quality training opportunities to support and strengthen the state’s recovery community. The REC aims to enhance the skills, knowledge, and effectiveness of peer support workers and recovery coaches across Massachusetts. We empower individuals to support others on their recovery journeys by fostering a culture of recovery and resilience.

First REC Training Held on Tuesday, January 16th!

The REC site officially launched by offering All Things Recovery training. Participants learned about principles and practices of Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC), Non-Clinical Recovery Support, Multiple Pathways, and the roles of Recovery Coaches and other Peer Workers. This training includes the steps Massachusetts has taken to foster and support ROSC in the state. This is a great course for anyone interested in learning more about the peer workforce, including clinicians, recovery coaches, those new to the field or those that want to grow in their knowledge of the field. It is a pre-requisite course for the Supervision of Recovery Coaches and Other Peer Workers, which is required for becoming a Recovery Coach Supervisor. Please look at our calendar for additional All Things Recovery classes being offered.
