FAFSA Graduation Requirement



Senior parents -- did you know that California state law requires high school seniors to apply for college financial aid as a graduation requirement?

During seniors' Gov/Econ classes, Ms. Murtagh and the school counselors helped seniors create a login to the FAFSA financial aid application (or Dream Act application). Please help your student complete the FAFSA application process:

1. Create an FSA ID -- one each needed for parent & student.
2. Complete the FAFSA application using your 2022 income tax information.

Students applying to private colleges might also be required to submit the CSS Profile Financial Aid application. If your student is applying to private colleges, please check this list of CSS Profile Participating Colleges. Undocumented students may submit the CA Dream Act Application.

• Cost: $250 per student (financial assistance available)
• Payment Options: Check (drop in Grad Night Committee box) or Zelle
