Getting Additional Cookies and
Giving Girls Credit for Those New Sales

Hello Troop Cookie Managers & Leaders,

Girl Scouts are working hard to reach their goals—we love that they are learning all about Goal Setting!

Getting More Cookies

Troop Cookie Managers hear a common question this time of year; “Can I get more cookies?” And the answer is yes! Of course you’ll want to credit girls for the additional cookies they take.

Step-by-Step instructions are found in your Guide to Smart Cookies (page numbers noted below).

To get more cookies, you need to place a planned order from your Cookie Cupboard. First Planned Order Deadline is tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 6 by
9:00 pm.

When you place the order you’ll see where your cupboard is located and when you can pick up.

If you choose a video overview, check out this How To Video.

REMINDERS:

Your weekly deadline for placing a planned order is 9pm on Sunday

You can place two orders per week, and you can edit each order prior to the 9pm Sunday deadline

You might see some news and social media reports of cookie shortages. Councils who use Little Brownie Baker may have shortages. We use ABC Bakers and do not anticipate any shortages.

Your families can continue to use the Girl Scout Order Tracker worksheet, we updated it to make it easier to follow. And bonus, it’s fillable online too!

In Case You Missed It!

Just want to make sure you saw the Cookiegram earlier this week that outlined options for credit card payments at booth sales. Smart Cookies is always an option and now you can use other reader options following important steps to put the account under GSKSMO Tax ID.

TWO Booth Lottery Opportunities - Enter by Tuesday, Feb. 8

Enter the Crown Center Lottery - This lottery should be entered by Junior and Up Troops and remember we provide all the cookie supply. In addition, troops share the proceeds for the entire weekend selected.

Enter the Nebraska Furniture Mart Lottery - Though this booth sale is after the season, troops will need to plan to supply cookies. If needed, we can work with you on money turn in for this extra booth.

Thanks!
