MESSIAH STUDENTS AT WINTER CAMP!
A group of our students in Jr. High and High School went to Forest Home Camp last weekend for a 3-day weekend of fun in the great outdoors! Their time was truly refreshing. They heard from Pastor Eric Holmstrom who spoke on who we are, why we need our church family, and how God loves us unconditionally. They had so much fun with outside activities like zip lining, archery tag, and ropes courses. It was a weekend of adventure both in nature and our spirituality.

NANCY ANDEEL SAYS GOODBYE

Help us say farewell & honor her
Sunday, January 30 at the 10:15am service & after!

"It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to let you know I will be stepping down from my position as Director of Worship at Messiah Lutheran, effective January 31. After months of prayerful consideration and wise counsel, I believe it is time for me to move forward into a new chapter of life.

I have spent a majority of my adult ministry life at Messiah and have a deep love for the church, my co-workers, and the many wonderful people who have been and currently are a part of Messiah.

Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of and lead God’s people at Messiah. I count it a privilege to have been in ministry leadership at Messiah for 19 years. When I started at Messiah, my oldest son was 6 months old. He’s now a freshman in college! This place has allowed me the opportunity to grow in the gifts God has given me and also have the flexibility as a wife and mother. Who can forget my big pregnant belly with our second son almost 18 years ago?!

Thank you for accepting me for who I am; gifts, faults and all. Messiah will always hold a special place in my heart. Our family has grown up together here. I will be praying that God brings the perfect person to lead Messiah musically in the direction the pastors and council choose.

I humbly request that you keep me and my family in your prayers for direction and wisdom as we seek God’s new purpose for our family."

Sincerely in Christ,
Nancy Andeel
