“Let There Be Light” is the theme of USU Physics’ 14th annual November Demo Show this Friday at 7 p.m. in ESLC 130. All are welcome and admission is free.

Applications for 2022-23 USU Scholarships Open Dec. 1
USU introduces “ScholarshipUniverse,” a new scholarship application platform, which includes all university, College of Science, and departmental scholarships. Apply online, beginning Wednesday, Dec. 1, with one application, to be considered for multiple opportunities. If you wish to be considered for need-based scholarships, as well as merit-based scholarships, you will need to fill out the FAFSA. Research Workshop Dec. 7
Would you like to participate in research on another college campus this summer, while earning a stipend? Learn how to apply for the National Science Foundation’s Research Experiences for Undergraduates program, and hear from Aggies who’ve participated in the past. Your Science Council hosts the workshop Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 5 p.m. in LSB 231. All undergrads are welcome! Questions? USU Observatory
USU Observatory Hosts Public Night Dec. 3
All are invited to view the night sky from the USU Observatory telescope Friday, Dec. 3, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The observatory is located on the roof of the SER Building. All ages are welcome and admission is free. Please visit the observatory’s website for updates prior to arrival on Dec. 3, as the gathering will be canceled in the event of cloudy or inclement weather.

Science Week 2021 was a BLAST!
A HUGE “Thank You” to Science Senator Jonathan Mousley and the college’s Science Council, led by President Kaden Bunch, who organized Science Week 2021; as well as to all the Aggies who participated in the week’s events. Participants presented research, played games and trivia, learned about campus resources for better mental health and collected donations for the Cache Community Food Pantry.
