What skills do you want to develop this year?
Not, “Who do you want to be in 2022?”
…but “What the fuck are you doing in 2022?”
What are you improving at? What are you learning and gaining? Instead of thinking about what you want to achieve in the new year, ask yourself, “What do I want to be good at that I’m not?”
Then get to work at it.

Clear focuses on the overall system rather than the goals. Your system is what will lead to results. Goals help set direction but systems are best for making progress. Habits are part of these systems. Repetition encodes habits and habits form based on frequency, not time.
