February 2024
Dear Classmates,
Our 55th reunion is almost here! The AADC Alumnae Reunion Weekend 2024 will take place on June 7 – June 8. We hope to see you all back on campus for this exciting celebration.
On Friday, from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm, there will be a hospitality room for the Class of 1969 in the Douglass Student Center. Light refreshments will be available, and hopefully, you'll get to meet old friends.
As part of our celebration, we thought it would be fun to share memorabilia that we have saved from our college days. Bring your items, or photos of them, to the hospitality room where our Historian, Pat Seymour Kraft, will put them on display. Please be sure to identify the people in the photos.
Our class photo will be taken on Friday in Trayes Hall right before the luncheon. If you have your scarf from our Vanguard Reunion, please wear it. If you don’t have one, wear something black, red or white.
We encourage you to follow the AADC at Douglass Alumnae on social media. You can also follow the "Douglass College Class of 1969." Contact our class secretary, Terre Williams Martin at terre.martin3710@gmail.com for more information.
Please visit our website at www.douglassalumnae.org/events/aadc-reunion-weekend-2024/ for the Reunion Schedule of Events to use as a guide for online registration, also listed on the website. Register early, as events will sell out quickly.
Please vote for classmates to represent us as Class Officers for the 2024-2029 term, via this online ballot: (LINK) Please return your ballot by Friday, May 17, 2024.
Missing Classmates – Please review the list of missing classmates, click here, and help us locate these alumnae and share our excitement with them about our upcoming and spectacular Reunion. If you can provide any information about these classmates, please contact Terre Williams Martin at terre.martin3710@gmail.com as soon as possible.
On behalf of all the Class Officers, we are excited to celebrate sisterhood with you on Friday, June 7 – Saturday, June 8 for the AADC Alumnae Reunion Weekend 2024.
Sincerely,
Carole Bialecki Bruchman, Co-Vice President
Sonia Parry Tyson, Co-Vice President
