DAVIS ELEMENTARY'S ROYAL BALL A SUCCESS
The Davis Elementary PTO sponsored the annual father/daughter dance over the weekend and The Royal Ball was a GREAT event. RIBY IS STUDENT & GATLIN IS TEACHER
DCHS Senior, Leonard Riby was recently recognized at the Trenton-Dade Optimist Club as the DCHS 2023 STAR Student. 💪🏅👏 Riby selected Ms. Tonya Gatlin to serve as his STAR Teacher. The STAR Program (Student Teacher Achievement Recognition) honors Georgia's highest-achieving students on the SAT and GA teachers that have made an impact on their academic achievements. DES KINDERGARTEN CELEBRATED IN FASHION
It was "Fashion Friday" in kindergarten at Dade Elementary School this past Friday! The kindergarten students posed and walked the "red carpet" to celebrate the letter F! #ReachingGreatnessTogether
DMS TO HOST FINE ARTS FAIR THIS TUESDAY
DMS is hosting a Fine Arts Fair this Tuesday, February 7, 2023. The "Books To Movies" event will feature visual arts, theatre arts, media arts, and chorus. DMS looks forward to seeing you TOMORROW in the Media Center at 5:30 P.M.
FISHING TEAM TAKES 4th IN FIRST TOURNAMENT
The DCHS anglers recently participated in their first fishing tournament for the school year. The anglers, guided by their boat captains, were casting lines on the waters of Lake Lanier before sunrise on a Saturday morning, and several qualified for weigh-ins at the conclusion of the tournament. Overall, the DCHS Anglers brought home 4th place! Although the season has just begun, they are looking forward to bringing home more hardware! Two of the fishing team members pictured above are Jake Harris (DCHS Freshman) and River McBryar (DCHS Sophomore).
DADE ELEMENTARY TO HOST S.T.E.M. NIGHT
Please join us at Dade Elementary School as we explore what your family can do in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Each grade level will have a challenge for you and your child to complete at school. All you need to do is complete the form & return it to your child's teacher prior to your grade level night. Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade will be on Tuesday evening, February 21st from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and 3rd, 4th & 5th grade will be on Thursday, February 23rd from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. This event is free for DES students and families. DAVIS ELEMENTARY TO HOST MARS TITlE 1 NIGHT
Join us at Davis Elementary School on a voyage to learn how to support your child in MATH and READING and participate in a fun S.T.E.M. activity! MARS Night will be held at Davis Elementary School - Monday, February 27 at 6:00 P.M. Click HERE for more information.

The Dade County Board of Education will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting Monday, February 27, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Dade County Board of Education building located at 52 Tradition Lane Trenton, GA. 30752.
