A bit late this month... but that's a wrap! As I write my final president's message I want to thank the entire chapter for providing myself and the board so much support. We made it through a challenging year, in our personal, professional and social lives. The majority of our year was virtual, and I know that was hard... and I thank you for sticking it out- showing up to those meetings, engaging and continuing to provide the network of support and friendship we all need and love so much.
Serving you as President has been a pleasure and I look forward to the chapter's continued growth.
I encourage each of you to consider both chapter and corporate level service, whether it be on the board or committee engagement. The leadership skills, growth in confidence, and friendships you experience are life long tools.
September marks the changing of seasons, which so nicely translates to the changing of our EWI seasons, as we prepare to welcome a new board to lead us.
With a new board, comes change. LCAM 2021 focused a lot on change, and how to view it as a positive- how to grow from it. Change can be hard, and everyone has their own method of understanding and reacting to change, but I know whatever we experience as a chapter, we will come out stronger.
