Drexel’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Climate Survey

As part of Drexel's ongoing commitment to assess and improve the University's climate of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), on Monday, October 11, you received an invitation e-mail from the Office of Equality and Diversity, with the subject line "HEDS Consortium Climate Survey" to participate in an important survey to help University leadership gauge how students, faculty and professional staff perceive the University's climate and level of support for DEI. The survey asks about your perceptions of the University's climate and how the University supports diversity and equity across different dimensions of identity. Please set aside 10-15 minutes for this important initiative.

CONGRATULATIONS

Distinguished University and Charles T. and Ruth M. Bach Professor Yury Gogotsi (MSE) has been awarded a 2021-2022 Ben Gurion University (BGU)/Philadelphia Academic Bridge grant that will support his collaborator, Professor Eugen A. Katz of the Department of Solar Energy and Environmental Physics at BGU, to visit Drexel for their project, “Development of Stable Perovskite Photovoltaics via Introducing MXene Layer in their device architecture.” The BGU/Philadelphia Academic Bridge was founded to establish, maintain, strengthen, and expand research collaborations between scientists from BGU of the Negev, Israel with scientists from academic institutions in the Philadelphia area. Endowed grants are awarded each year through a peer-reviewed process led by a team of Philadelphia and BGU scientists.
