December 2023 - News and Events

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

USDA NIFA Grant Recipient Spotlight!

This is our second year of our USDA NIFA grant for students lacking veterinary education opportunities. As we work to provide more opportunity for students lacking veterinary science education we are excited to have an exceptional group of kids this cycle.

MaKayla Smith is one of our awesome USDA NIFA students!

She is currently a senior at Kilgore High School and aspires to be a veterinarian. MaKayla has been through many hardships which have shaped her into the person she is today.

She has accomplished many things over the years such as being Co-Captain of the volleyball team, receiving various medals from sports, and even currently being the salutatorian of her class.

MaKayla participates in various agricultural events and prides herself in being apart of the FFA program. She competes with FFA in their veterinary science competitions along with other events. She is so excited to be apart of this program and will do whatever it takes to put this opportunity to good use.

Help us congratulate Makayla for being a great student and a deserving young lady we are expecting to do big things in the future!

Way to go MaKayla Smith! We are proud of you!
