INTLCXN: Indiana's Response to the Crisis in Ukraine

The International Center invites you to an informative virtual panel discussion regarding Indiana's response to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The panel includes four professionals from diverse sectors working to support Ukraine:

Jessica Neeb-Smith, Indianapolis Public Library
Svitlana Ramer, Development Alternatives Inc.
Olga Vakulenko, Burmese American Community Institute

This discussion will be moderated by Sarah Phillips (IU-Bloomington).

The webinar will be hosted on Zoom from 12:00-1:00 pm EST on December 7th. Join us during your lunch break to hear from these passionate professionals.

Living up to the Mission

The International Center is a catalyst to inform, convene and connect public, private and civic global objectives in Indiana.

The International Center recently celebrated Halloween, but did you know that there is a diverse array of holidays celebrated around the world at this time of year? Check out our latest blog to learn more about international fall festivities. How do you celebrate?

Convene:

The Center hosted a delegation from Mexico as part of the U.S. Department of State and Global Ties U.S. Law Enforcement & Security Exchange Program. The twenty participants, representing various law enforcement agencies throughout Mexico, visited with representatives from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, Indiana Department of Homeland Security, Indiana EMS, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Indiana Drug Enforcement Agency.

The International Center team had a great time connecting with global leaders at the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition luncheon. We are grateful for the opportunity to share the work we do, as well as to hear from Senator Todd Young and USGLC‘s president and CEO Liz Schrayer.
