Grand Haven 9 Reopening
The Grand Haven 9 theater went bankrupt shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic and the theater has remained empty since that time.

However, that is about to change.

GQT Movies has purchased the Grand Haven 9 movie theater and has a target date to re-open on Friday, November 19th.

Further GQT Movies will start renovations of the theater in January of 2022 including re-seating auditoriums with leather, rocker style, seats. GQT Movies brings over 30 years of experience in the industry and has worked hard to put this deal together. Previously, GQT acquired the former Goodrich Quality Theaters locations in 23 other cities and has been operating them since July of 2020.
Community Development Director Fedewa Leaving
Community Development Director Stacey Fedewa has accepted a “Planner II/Proffer Management” position with Loudoun County, Virginia. This is a fantastic career opportunity for Stacey and we are confident that she will excel in her new position.

Stacey’s final day with the Township will be Monday, November 15th.
Stacey has provided exceptional service to the Township – overseeing several major community development projects. She will be difficult to replace and is the fourth department director to retire or accept a new position over the previous eighteen (18) month period.

Interviews to hire a “Senior Planner” will begin in Mid-November.
