Terry Stewart and Mark Green were elected to three-year terms as Big Canoe POA Board of Directors, it was announced Saturday at the POA’s Annual Meeting at the Big Canoe Chapel.
A total of 3,025 votes – representing 50 percent of all eligible votes – were tallied.
Green and Stewart will serve in positions vacated by outgoing Board members Candace Robertson and Regis Falinksi, who just completed their three-year term.
The Board also selected new officers for 2022, including Tim Moran as president, Terry Stewart as treasurer and Mark Green as secretary.
Also, 58 percent of all votes cast were in favor of approving an amendment that requires those who lease their Big Canoe homes to pay an annual Lease Administration Fee of $175. The current administration fee of $25 in Rule A.14 will be deleted. This is effective upon recording in Dawson and Pickens counties in December 2022 and would begin in 2023.
