**YOU MUST HAVE CLEARANCES TO VOLUNTEER
A friendly reminder - in order to volunteer in the classroom, you must have current volunteer clearances through CBSD. The process is EASY and all done online using the Volunteer Tracker App to track volunteer clearances. Every CB volunteer will need to register, and upload their clearances.

Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children obtain background checks and clearances. Click here for the required clearances, along with links to the state’s websites, which may be found on the CBSD website.

**Please note: Butler will follow the Health and Safety plan of the District. At this time, volunteers are limited for specific activities. All volunteer opportunities are subject to change based on District guidelines. You MUST have current clearances in order to volunteer. Click here for volunteer clearance information.

BUTLER BEAR CLUBS IS BACK!
Butler Bear Clubs

Butler Bear Clubs is a winter enrichment program created to provide fun opportunities during the winter months. Classes are six weeks in February and March. We hope to provide a variety of options: sports, dance, arts, crafts and STEM.

At this time we are looking for your input:
  • Do you have any talent or interest you’d like to share with kids? Is there a class you could teach?  Maybe you have an idea but you’re not sure, ask us! Instructors are needed to commit to run a class once a week for six weeks. You get paid $100 salary + the cost to cover materials.
  • Do you have an idea for a class that you would like to see us offer? Do you know of a business or individual who would offer a great course? Drop us an email. We’re looking for ideas that appeal to all kinds of interests and will see if it’s something that we can add to our offerings!

Interested in getting involved? Please email us at ButlerBearClubs@gmail.com with any questions or if you are interested in helping plan/organize clubs. We'll also have some paid positions for classroom assistants and hall monitors (details to follow).

General Butler Bear Clubs info can be found on the PTO webpage here and will be updated with 2021-22 school year info as available.
