Attention High School Premedical Students! Join our new Be One Teach One Program to gain mentorship from College Premedical Students!

Attend any of our 4 workshops on: The Premedical Journey (11/19), Mental Health (11/26), Nutrition and Exercise (12/3), and Period Poverty and Reproductive Health (12/10). Workshops will all be from 5-6pm PST. Hear from our panelists and ask questions! Each session will be an hour of presentations, games, and panelist Q&A.

Are you a medical or premedical student? We would love to hear more about your knowledge of/interest in fertility technology and intentions to build a family during training! Participate in a research study to share your perspective. Your participation will help generate data to understand the family building needs of students and advocate for better policies to support the family building goals of future physicians.

Domestic Violence Prevention Committee
It is estimated that over 10 million people experience domestic violence each year. Physicians are in a unique position to combat the public health issue of intimate partner violence (IPV). Physicians have the ability to screen for IPV in their patients, offer resources, and follow up with their patients. However, there are existing gaps in the screening of IPV in patients, as well as what to do when intimate partner violence is recognized in a patient.

Join AMWA’s Domestic Violence Prevention Committee to help close these gaps through our three branches of education, advocacy, and research.
