Travel Signature Days

Are you traveling outside of the U.S. during the Winter Break? Do you need a travel signature?


The OISS will be hosting International Travel Days at each campus December 5-8th. Come meet Rianna, the new SEVIS Coordinator, and get your travel signature.


  • Monday, December 5th 8am-4pm: Sylvania campus, CC 215
  • Tuesday, December 6th 8am-4pm: Rock Creek campus, Building 3, Room 223
  • Wednesday, December 7th 8am-4pm: Cascade campus, CH 304
  • Thursday, December 8th 8am-4pm: Southeast campus, SCOMM 119


No appointment needed, just drop by. Don't forget to bring:

  • Your most recent I-20 (paper copy, no digital copies)
  • Your passport with your F-1 visa

TRAVEL SIGNATURES

If you leave the United States, you must have a travel signature on your I-20 before you re-enter the US as an F-1 student. Please complete the Travel Signature Request form if you would like to obtain a new travel signature, or email the SEVIS team if you are not sure whether your current travel signature is still valid.


WINTER 2023 REGISTRATION UPDATES

Winter 2023 term registration began on Monday, November 14, 2022. The class schedule is available online. 


Be sure to pay your tuition before the payment deadline: Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Students who do not make a payment or sign up for the payment plan before the payment deadline will be dropped from ALL classes.

NOTE: You cannot register for classes if you have a hold. If you have holds preventing you from registering, you can contact OISS for assistance on how to remove them. 


Common holds:

  • Health Insurance hold: send your PacificSource payment confirmation to oiss.insurance@pcc.edu
  • Mandatory SEVIS Check-In hold: contact the SEVIS team
  • Financial hold: Pay your balance immediately through MyPCC, or contact Student Accounts to find out more information.

COVID-19 Vaccine Information

The vaccination plan and schedule change often. The latest information for getting vaccinated in Oregon is here.

Get Your Flu Shot for Free


To get your annual flu shot, all you need to do is show your PacificSource Member ID to an in-network doctor, or at pharmacies including Albertsons, CVS, Costco, Fred Meyer, Kroger, and Safeway.

Create a Vision Board

A Vision Board is a collage of images and words representing a person's wishes or goals, intended to serve as inspiration or motivation. Join us and come design a collage of images that represents your goals and dreams for 2023. 

Tuesday, December 6 from 10am–12noon at Rock Creek campus Bldg 5 Foyer 

Build a Gingerbread House

Join in a festive holiday tradition building your very own miniature house made with cookie walls, frosting-covered rooftops, and decorated with candy. We provide an individual gingerbread house kit, limit one per student please.

Wednesday, December 7 from 2–4pm at Sylvania Campus CC 221

Origami and Unity Tree

Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper into decorative shapes and figures. A Unity Tree is an interactive and hands-on activity in which anyone can contribute by writing positive messages on leaves that are attached to the tree. Learn to create Origami designs and write an uplifting message to make our Unity Tree grow.

Ornament Decorating

Looking to give someone a handmade gift for the holidays? Or maybe you just love to make your surroundings festive and beautiful? Choose from a variety of wooden ornaments to paint or color with markers and create something truly one-of-a-kind and magical. 


Bike Rentals

In need of transportation? Have a bike that needs repair? We've got a bike rental program on each campus! Only $15 per term. To make an appointment, scan the QR code or email John Carter at john.carter9@pcc.edu

Seasonal Assistance

PCC Student Life and Leadership Program is taking applications to assist PCC students and their families with basic needs support this holiday season and over winter break. The application will be open from November 3 until November 17, 2022 at 5:00pm.


In order to be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled at Portland Community College for Fall Term 2022. Supplies are limited. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be entered into a lottery and we may not be able to provide support to every applicant.Click on the link below to apply.

Seasonal Assistance

PCC Tutoring Center

Students can book 30-minute tutoring appointments Monday-Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm across four physical locations (CA, RC, SE, & SY) and via PCC Zoom.

Panther Pantry

The Panther Pantry is a free resource to all PCC students (current student ID is needed). Our pantries are stocked with fresh food, canned food, hygiene supplies and more.


Panther Pantries are now OPEN for Fall Term.

Room Available to Rent

Eri (she/her) has a room available for rent near Portland State University. One apartment, two people and 1 bath. The move-in date is flexible. No pets allowed. Females only.
