Congratulations to Ms. De La Rosa and one of her photography students, Carlos Perez! Last semester our Advanced Digital Photography students attended a Storytelling Through Photography workshop at the California Museum of Photography in Riverside. The workshop was inspired by the work of Christina Fernandez. In the following weeks, students produced their own photographic story that they then presented to the workshop presenter that visited our class. Carlos Perez, was selected to exhibit his photographic story, A Quiet Day, at the UCR ARTS’ exhibition, Storytelling Through Photography: Inland Empire Students Inspired by Christina Fernandez. The exhibition opening reception will be on Sunday, May 21 (exact time TBD soon). The exhibition will be on view from May 21-June 4th on the third floor of the California Museum of Photography. Way to SOAR!
Thank you for keeping Summit soaring!
Keep soaring SkyHawks!
